{"id":4486,"date":"2019-09-28T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-09-28T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/stronglife\/?p=4571"},"modified":"2023-10-11T12:24:27","modified_gmt":"2023-10-11T12:24:27","slug":"pre-and-post-workout-nutrition-part1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stronglifehp.com.au\/wpdemo2\/pre-and-post-workout-nutrition-part1\/","title":{"rendered":"Pres and Post Workout Nutrition &#8211; Part1"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><strong>Pre \/ Post Workout Nutrition &#8211; Part1<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Today I want to talk about pre and post workout nutrition (specifically carbohydrates) and the impact it has on workout performance.??<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Pre-workout refers to before the workout&nbsp;<br \/>\nPost-workout refers to after the workout&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><strong>Pre-Workout<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\nIn regards to performance, like mentioned in my previous post, Carbohydrates are our preferred source of energy.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Long story short, carbohydrates = glycogen, used for our muscle cell activity and blood glucose for our nervous system.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\nSo if we time our pre-workout meal which consists of carbohydrates correctly, we can ensure that our body is topped up with glycogen.
